Job Description:

Orbis Engineering Field Services Ltd. is seeking an ELECTRICAL FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN with 5+ years experience working on LOW, MEDIUM AND HIGH VOLTAGE POWER DISTRIBUTION EQUIPMENT in a variety of capacities including utilities, manufacturing, mining, pipeline and oil and gas. The position requires hands on experience doing installation, repair and maintenance on high, medium, and low voltage power distribution equipment which includes circuit breakers, transformers and switchgear. Candidate will need to have specific experience servicing multiple customers with multiple technologies and equipment. Strong problem solving skills will be an asset and experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning of power equipment a definite requirement. Applicant must have a clean driving record and pass a background screening.

The successful candidate will be self managed, have a strong business and service sense, be computer literate and have excellent interpersonal skills-both written and verbal. The successful candidate will be able to accept unrestricted out of town assignments.

MAINTENANCE PLANNER - Full time

Position Description

The maintenance planner position is responsible for assisting with the development of reliability based maintenance strategy, based on preventive and predictive maintenance. The planner position requires hands on maintenance experience and will be utilized when needed.

Duties/responsibilities

. Assist with troubleshooting and planning of repair, and replacement of mechanical and electrical systems.
. Equipment and repair parts data entry and management
. Predictive and preventative maintenance scheduling
. Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and research
. Planning and coordinating maintenance job and projects
. Perform work order repairs, inspections and adjustments
. Work directly with production personnel to isolate and repair equipment problems
. Participates in plant safety, health and environmental programs


Training/experience

. Related post secondary education/technical trade degree required
. At least one year maintenance planner/coordinator experience
. Ability to build and use maintenance library for repairs
. Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
. Ability to write detailed repair reports as well as good verbal communication
. Experience in mechanical systems and mobile fleet maintenance is an asset
. Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software
. SAP experience is an asset

Must be willing to travel and work on a changing shift schedule and on a rotating weekly schedule.
