Orbis General Manager, Amin Kassam, P.Eng, was recently invited to lecture at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogota as part of a four week course on Teaching and Ethics.
The course consisted of a series of lectures given by international experts in their respective field. On July 7th, Amin delivered a lecture on “The professional person in the global world. New requirements, new challenges.” On the following day, Amin offered his international business experience to a discussion forum on “The social pertinence of disciplines and profession.”
Both sessions were very well received by the university and the students.
The Universidad Nacional de Colombia was a gracious host during Amin’s stay, touring him around Bogotá old city as well as the Cathedral of Salt in Zipaquire.
